Kate Hopkins
Social Worker and Systemic Practitioner
Kate qualified as a social worker in 2011. She completed her Advanced Certificate in systemic practice with families and couples in 2015. She has over 11 years’ experience working with children and families in statutory settings both as a social worker, advanced practitioner and manager. Kate currently holds a senior leadership position at a residential parenting assessment service.
Kate has lots of experience of working with complex risk. The families she works with appreciate her transparent, calm and clear approach. Her colleagues and professionals value how clearly Kate is able to articulate risk and need and consider realistic solutions or interventions. Kate enjoys building relationships within her work, even in difficult or crisis situations.
